Sentara Health is seeking a passionate IT leader to join our team as  to join our team as Director IT Clinical Systems!

Areas of responsibility include Epic and non-Epic applications and technology in support of Population Health, Ambulatory/HOD, Community Connect, Post Acute, and implementation. Successful candidate should have a working knowledge of Epic, application and technical experience implementing and supporting clinical systems, and strong knowledge and experience related to operational and clinical workflows. This leader will be responsible for build, support, integrations, implementations, optimization, prioritization, change control, process improvement, budget management, etc.

EducationBachelor's Degree Preferred.Experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree8 relevant years’ experience with a degree 10 relevant years’ of experience without a degree Certification/LicensureEPIC certification Preferred

Experience

5 years of leadership experience requiredExperience overseeing Epic and non-Epic applications and technologies in support of: Population Health, Ambulatory , Post acute care setting, Community Health, Systems ImplementationsWorking Knowledge of Epic Systems including build, support, integrations, and optimization.Hands on Experience implementing and supporting Clinical systemsStrong understanding of operational and clinical workflows across care settings.Effective leadership in guiding cross-functional teams through system implementations and enhancements.Proven ability to lead and manage - System prioritization and change control processes ; Clinical and technical process improvement initiatives ; Budget planning and management
