The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Financial Services team: Director, International Finance & Accounting

This is a highly visible and high impact leadership role reporting to the Vice President, ES Financial Services (FS). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Record to Report, Order to Cash, and Accounts Payable teams in India and other FS global hubs in partnership with the Business Solutions leadership team. Additionally, this role will serve as a key partner to internal stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance and Digital Technology, along with external stakeholders to address any concerns and issues in a timely manner. In this capacity, the candidate must demonstrate a high degree of customer orientation, a commitment to excellence and a strong balance of people, process, and technology skills. 

This position will be primarily onsite.

What You Will Do:

Oversight of RTX International Financial Services including:Record to Report - journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany, and period end closeOrder to Cash - issuance of customer invoices, cash collection, and cash applicationAccounts Payable including processing, disbursements, and customer support  Execution and support of international FS long-term strategy and operational directionResponsible for leading a large team of financial professionals including managementAbility to influence others to harmonize practices and policiesDevelop, implement, and maintain accurate system, procedure, and policy documentation Monitor the health of the organization through creation and monitoring of reports, analytics and key performance indicators Develop and maintain strong controls to ensure the accuracy of financial statements Responsible for the performance of the team, including development, training, and career growth Support audit and control discussions as a subject matter expert, and answer audit requests accurately and on time.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or other relevant degreeTypically requires 14 years of directly related professional experience; OR an advanced degree and 12 years of directly related professional experienceRequires advanced business knowledge, general management, and leadership capability to lead business or functional teamsExperience leading and executing large-scale projectsExperience leading and mentoring a team of professionals, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative, high-performance cultureDemonstrate a high degree of customer orientation to meet the needs of customersStrategic mindset along with the ability to turn concepts into actionStrong problem-solving and process management/improvement skillsStrong relationship building and influence skills
