Job Details:
The Director, Information Technology plays a pivotal role in shaping an organization's technological landscape, driving digital transformation, and ensuring that IT capabilities support and enhance business operations and competitive advantage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, safeguarding the organization's IT practices and data security.
Long-Term IT Strategy: Define and execute the long-term IT strategy, ensuring it is aligned with organizational objectives and drives business growth.
Leadership and Team Development: Lead and develop the entire IT organization, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.
IT Operations Oversight: Oversee all IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, security, and support, ensuring seamless performance and scalability.
Collaboration with C-Level Executives: Collaborate with C-level executives to drive digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and market demands.
Team Member Support and Empowerment: Actively support team members by identifying and creating opportunities for skill development, cross-functional exposure, and career advancement, ensuring their success and alignment with organizational goals.
Budget and Resource Management: Manage the IT budget and resource allocation across the department, optimizing cost efficiency and project outcomes.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's, Master’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a significant amount of relevant experience.
Preferred Certification(s): Any relevant IT certification along with ITIL knowledge.
Experience: 10+ years of relevant and progressive experience with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.

Vendor and Partner Relationship Management: Manage relationships with key vendors and partners, ensuring strategic alignment and optimal service delivery.
Position Specific Skills:
Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Service Desk, Deskside Support, Client Engineering, and Collaboration Tools teams
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer focus within the organization
Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and contract management.
Manage the implementation and support of collaboration tools, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other communication platforms.
Promote the adoption and effective use of collaboration tools to enhance productivity and teamwork.
Ensure the delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable client solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in client engineering.
Collaborate with the managed service provider to ensure seamless execution of day-to-day IT operations.
Monitor and assess the performance of the managed service provider, ensuring adherence to SLAs, quality, and delivery standards.
