Director IT Strategy and Governance

Our Global IT service provider is seeking a visionary and strategic Director to fill the role of Director IT Strategy and Governance to the Co-CIO. 

 

As the Director IT Strategy and Governance, you will play a pivotal role in driving our IT strategy and ensuring alignment with ASICS' global business objectives. This high-level position involves serving as a trusted advisor to the Co-CIO, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across our IT organization worldwide. 
 

How you will help us: 

Based in our NL office and reporting to the ASICS Co-CIO, as part of the role you will: 

Provide strategic leadership by collaborating with the Co-CIO to define and communicate a clear technology vision that aligns IT initiatives with the overall goals of ASICS. 

Drive focus and prioritization within the organization through establishing strategic planning and governance principles and processes. 

Lead the development and implementation of operational models that enhance the agility and responsiveness of ASICS Technology to meet the evolving needs of ASICS worldwide. 

Design and implement IT performance management frameworks, policies, and methodologies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of IT operations within ASICS Technology. 

Foster cross-functional collaboration to enhance synergy between IT and other departments, managing relationships with strategic vendors to optimize service delivery. 

 

What we are looking for:  

In-depth understanding of IT strategy, digital transformation, and operating models in a technology-driven environment. 

Proven experience in a senior strategic role within IT, ideally in a global organization. 

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence executive level stakeholders. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset. 

Pragmatic and willing to do whatever it takes to achieve the organization’s objectives.
