As\na Director of Labor and Employment here at Honeywell, you will hold a critical\nleadership position in managing and shaping labor relations within our\norganization. Your role will involve developing and implementing comprehensive\nlabor relations strategies, overseeing collective bargaining negotiations, and\nensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. By fostering positive\nemployee relations and maintaining strong partnerships with unions, you will\ncontribute to creating a harmonious and productive work environment for our\nemployees.

You will report directly to our LATAM General Counsel and you'll work out of\nour Mexico City location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the labor relations landscape of our organization\nand play a key role in driving positive employee relations.

 

KEY\nRESPONSIBILITIES

Guide a team of labor relations professionals to drive positive employee\nrelations.Develop and implement comprehensive labor relations strategies and\npolicies to promote positive employee relations.Oversee collective bargaining negotiations and administer collective\nbargaining agreements.Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations to protect the rights\nand interests of employees.Manage and resolve complex labor disputes and grievances in collaboration\nwith internal and external stakeholders.

YOU\nMUST HAVE

Bachelor's Degree in Law.10+ years of experience in labor relations, with a focus on collective\nbargaining and employee relations, guiding an organization or team.Proven track record of successfully guiding labor relations initiatives\nand negotiations.Advanced English proficiency (Business level)Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including experience in\ninterpreting and applying them.Excellent communication and people-oriented skills, with the ability to\ninfluence and build consensus.Strong guiding and strategic thinking abilities to drive labor relations\nstrategies and initiatives.

Experience and knowledge of Labor Law for LATAM countries (Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile).Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment,\nmanaging multiple priorities.Strong thoughtful and problem-solving skills to assess labor relations\ndata and trends.Ability to handle sensitive and attuned information with utmost\ndiscretion.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related\nfield.
