Job Description The Legal Counsel Director will play a pivotal role in managing and consolidating all court appearances and outcomes for litigation and labor relations within a specific area of assignment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Consolidates for the Head of LUZON/GMA litigation and labor relations all COURT APPEARANCES OUTCOMES

Prepares  pleadings, reports, implementation of litigation activities and other labor relations services for the different Globe operations in the area of LUZON/GMA

Coordinates and informs within CLSG lawyers on all litigation and labor relations related concerns particularly those outside of specialized functions 

Assists in the conduct of research on litigation and labor relations matters for LUZON GMA

Acts as legal counsel for LUZON GMA areas and appears in all official court hearings, cases, for a, etc. for Globe

Helps ensure and protect the welfare of Globe business and the representatives of Globe business in any court litigation or labor related cases

KPIs:

Case Resolution Rate: Percentage of cases resolved successfully (e.g., favorable outcomes, settlements) within a given timeframe, reflecting efficiency and effectiveness in legal representation.

Compliance Rate: Percentage of compliance with relevant laws and regulations across all operations, indicating the effectiveness of legal guidance in minimizing risks.

Client Satisfaction Score: Measured through surveys or feedback, this KPI gauges client satisfaction with legal services provided, reflecting the quality of communication and support.

Litigation Costs Management: Monitoring and controlling litigation expenses compared to budgeted costs, demonstrating financial stewardship and resource efficiency.

Timeliness of Legal Advice: Average time taken to provide legal opinions or advice on urgent matters, ensuring responsiveness to business needs and operational requirements.

Comprehensive Legal Reports: Detailed reports on ongoing litigation cases, compliance status, and risk assessments to inform management and stakeholders.

Drafted Legal Documents: Timely preparation and review of contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents, ensuring they meet legal standards and align with business objectives.

Training and Compliance Programs: Development and implementation of training sessions for employees on legal compliance, workplace policies, and best practices in labor relations.

Litigation Strategy Plans: Strategic plans for managing current and anticipated litigation, including risk analysis, resource allocation, and mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Communication: Regular updates and consultations with internal stakeholders regarding legal issues, risks, and resolutions to ensure alignment with business goals.
