Job Description:

The Corporate & Leveraged Finance group at Regions Securities LLC is focused on providing capital raising and advisory services to the firm’s corporate, commercial and financial sponsor clients. The Corporate & Leveraged Finance group consists of product and coverage areas including: loan syndications (investment grade, leveraged and middle market), fixed income capital markets, equity capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, private alternative capital (2nd lien, mezzanine, etc.), and sponsor coverage group.

At Regions, the Capital Markets Sponsor Coverage Lead is a client management role focused on originating revenue generating opportunities within the Corporate & Leveraged Finance group. The Sponsor Coverage Lead will conduct business development activities to identify and source financing, capital markets, and mergers & acquisitions transactions for Regions’ existing and prospective financial sponsor clients. The role is to serve as the primary liaison between financial sponsors and Regions’ industry banking, leveraged finance, and traditional bank solutions. The key objective of the role is to serve as a trusted strategic and financial advisor to financial sponsor clients for situations including acquisitions, recapitalizations, restructurings, leveraged buyouts and mergers & acquisition advisory.

 Primary Responsibilities

Generates strong revenue production over a sustained period of time

Reviews financial sponsor portfolio company opportunities

Proactively generates ideas for sponsor clients

Develops internal and external client relationships

Partners with other Regions business units to deliver appropriate solutions

Performs ongoing client management around pitch and transaction processes

Communicates and partners with core and extended client team members

Participates in the recruitment, development and training of junior resources

Directs strategy and protocol related to Regions’ financial sponsor clients

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. 

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field

Seven (7) years of capital markets, leveraged finance, mergers/acquisitions, and or investment banking experience

Series 79 & 63 licenses

Ability for extensive travel

Preferences

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Proven ability to originate and close capital markets business

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$246,900.31 USD

Median:

$291,165.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
