What Manufacturing Management contributes to Cardinal Health
The Director of Manufacturing Management is responsible for overall manufacturing plant execution to achieve KPI indicators like SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost). Establishes the strategy to deploy the company culture to achieve the highest standards on Safety and VoE to ensures world class quality and service levels at the facility. Lead the organization to reach the levels of excellence in the performance as a World Class organization in practices and manufacturing systems; through the different management staff: Quality, Finance, Engineering, Focus Factories, Human Resources, Maintenance, Opex, Materials. Seeking compliance with business metrics: safety, quality, service and cost, ensuring the manufacture of world class products in harmony with the objectives and values CAH.
This role will oversee the operations of our manufacturing sites in Juarez, Mexico and El Paso, Texas along with the Distribution Center encompassing 2,500+ employees.
Accountabilities
Oversees all assembly, kitting and warehouse operations.
Develops and works to achieve plant specific goals.
Manages the attainment of production goals and KPI’s including production goals, strategic initiatives, headcount and quality standard.
Assesses the site for inefficiencies and addresses through the continuous improvement of current and potential processes, methods, etc.
Evaluates, adjusts and manages workforce planning/ staffing levels based on customer insights, orders and site demand.
Fosters training of employees to ensure proper operation of equipment and understanding of processes and procedures.
Ensures adherence to all quality standard operating procedures through collaboration with the quality team to identify and mitigate quality risk factors.
Identify and implement best practices optimizing CAH's competitive conditions.
Identifies and fosters high performance teams while promoting an environment of respect, discipline, professionalism and personal development
Effective communicator - maintains ongoing communication across the organization
Ensures adherence to necessary safety measures to prevent accidents, occupational diseases

Minimum Qualilfications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Advance degree preferred
8+ year progressive leadership experience in a large manufacturing environment
Medical Device or Automotive Manufacturing environment experience
Advanced Fluency in English and Spanish is a must
Solid acumen in the areas of Supply Chain, planning and warehouse management and Quality Assurance
Solid Interpersonal and leadership skills
Experience in budget management and strategic planning (P&L).
Experience in Ops Excellence (Lean Six Sigma)
Project Management, Operational Excellence certification preferred.
