Director Market Access Ophthalmology

This role is on-site 3 days per week in Sleepy Hollow, NY. A fully remote role is NOT possible for this position. This role cannot be based in Basking Ridge, NJ.

The Director of Market Access Strategy is a critical role on a fast-paced, energetic Market Access team. This team member will be responsible for leading and assisting in development/implementation of market access strategies across key segments of our business including: the payer account team, field reimbursement managers and sales. Primary responsibilities consist of leading and/or assisting in development, implementation and execution of market access initiatives and tactics. Additionally, we expect you to maintain a high-level of collaboration and integration with Brand Marketing, Training, Pricing, Trade, Market Research and all field teams (Reimbursement, Sales and Payer).

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

Leads the development of Market Access strategies and manages the execution of tactical plans aligned with Ophthalmology Market Access strategies for PayersLeads the strategic and the tactical development of various field-based resources to support field facing teams including Payer Account Directors, Reimbursement Business Managers (RBM), and Sales teamsContinuously evaluates changing market and competitive dynamics to inform short and long-term strategies including but not limited to formulary positioning, contracting, pricing and public policyLeads the management of key strategic partner relationships to ensure execution of the strategic vision and tactical goals as well as the timely completion of projects within budgetCollaborates with cross-functional internal teams (Marketing, Patient Support Services, Insights and Analytics, Pricing, Public Policy & Government Affairs, Trade, Medical Affairs, HEOR and Training) as well as Payer Team, RBM Team and Sales Field teams to help inform comprehensive market access strategies and tactical plansStrong ability to create and implement complex access strategies for payers and providers, and develop innovative payer initiatives for patients

To be considered for this role candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years' progressive related pharmaceutical industry experience. 5-7+ years’ experience including · payer marketing, brand marketing, contracting, account management, customer facing role, and/or health economics.

$212,900.00 - $354,800.00
