Position Summary

The Mary Bridge Pediatric Network Emergency Services Director is administratively responsible for the planning, coordination, and direction of operations for Pediatric Emergency Services in the Mary Bridge Network. This currently includes the Mary Bridge Emergency Department, Pediatric Transfer Center, and Trauma Program. This position contributes to strategic planning and oversight or Pediatric Urgent Care Centers and Pediatric Emergency Service expansion in the Mary Bridge Network.

Responsibilities

​Provides vision, direction, and leadership for Emergency Services and designated departments and services.Functions as an effective, results-oriented leader in complex and dynamic environments.Work activities and assignments are determined and prioritized by goals and objectives established independently and collaboratively with the Chief Nursing Executive, Patient Care Services, and physician partners, and are influenced by internal and external customers and organization colleagues.Leads and facilitates development and integration of multidisciplinary Performance Improvement and quality assurance (QA) into department activities and systems.Accountable for service excellence to maximize customer internal and external satisfaction.Accountable for sound resource (financial, personnel, and capacity) management practices and system development to assure continued organization growth.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)Master’s Degree or obtain within 5 years of hire\position acceptanceCurrent Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)Eight (8) years of clinical experience and mastery of professional or technical role/functionFive (5) years progressive experience in managerial or supervisory capacityCurrent Healthcare Provider BLS – American Heart Association

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $186,160.00 - $258,419.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
