Job Details Responsibilities: Manages department operations. Plan, organize and direct activities Establish and implement policies, procedures and standards Manages department staff. Resolve staff problems and issues. Ensure compliance to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements Manages the financial and physical resources of the department. Prepares annual department budget as per Mercy Medical Center’s policy Designs and implements strategies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations related to service delivery, documentation, and reimbursement. Monitors operations to provide for continuous quality improvement & regulatory compliance. Provides related reports, trends, trend analysis, and follow up activities Ensures equipment and supply inventories are adequately maintained. Manages purchasing of supplies and equipment. Addresses budgetary restraints, makes recommendations to resolve issues and make improvements. Coordinates installation of new equipment and in-service training as needed Promotes program utilization via outreach and marketing. Monitors documentation to insure meets billing requirements. Participates in pursuit of funding via advocacy and grant writing Complies with all MMC/CHS policies and procedures in addition to those of Corporate Compliance, HIPAA, Joint Commission and all other regulatory agencies. Requirements: Active LMSW or LCSW or LMHC by the State of New York Minimum Master’s degree required 5 years of supervisory experience in an OMH regulated setting required 3 years of supervisory experience in substance use disorder preferred Experience working in a union environment preferred Knowledge and experience in: NYS – Office of Mental Health (OMH) & Office of Addiction & Substance abuse services – OMH and/or OASAS Mental Health Outpatient Treatment & Rehabilitative Service - MHOTRS Performance improvement/Quality Assurance - PI/QA Salary Range USD $53.00 - USD $70.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
