Summary:
This position will be responsible to lead the Network Telemedicine Strategy for the Penn Medicine enterprise. This role will include the program development, design and implementation of the operating model and the technology infrastructure to support the Telemedicine products and services.
Working closely with the Center of Connected Care, key areas of responsibility include:
• Develop an enterprise-wide Telemedicine program to support Penn Medicine network including Lancaster General Hospital, patients, providers and the workforce
• Collaborate with the Center for Transformation and Innovation (CHTI) in the development and design of new products and services
• Align and maximize Penn Medicine existing programs to support overall strategy
• Provide business structure for all Telemedicine ventures including business arrangements, contracting and knowledge of applicable legal compliance regulations.
Responsibilities:
+ Telemedicine Program Development Serves as organizational facilitator to determine Telemedicine opportunities Identifies roadblocks and creates structures that ensure viability and coordination of Telemedicine activities across specialties and campuses.
+ Meets with program chairs, hospital leaders and others to sustain programmatic relationships across Penn Medicine and affiliates Actively seeks out opportunities to expand Telemedicine business.
+ Understands technology, partners with appropriate individuals within Penn Medicine to assure viability and usability of technology.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
+ Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required) OR Master of Art or Science (Preferred)
+ Business or related field Equivalent Experience: And 5+ years Progressive management experience with responsibility for budget, human resources and projects of increased complexity.
+ Preferred - Prior experience in a complex integrated health system.
