Clinton Memorial is seeking a Director of Acute Care

The Director of Acute Care plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the overall clinical nursing practice and administrative activities, including fiscal, material and human resource management.Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.Supports the organization vision, mission, and values.Utilizes knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. Participates in the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures.Maintains open communication with all staff to promote improvement in performance.This position requires a sound knowledge of nursing practice and exceptional leadership abilities.
