Whether visually capturing a new state of the art office building or the essence of a neighborhood, photography and video brings real estate to life and allows users to imagine what is possible. Reporting to the VP of Field Operations, we are looking for a Director of Photography who will lead and inspire a management team responsible for a growing team of world class photographers. This individual's mandate will be to ensure timely delivery of quality content consisting of photography and video across our products (CoStar, Apartments.com, LoopNet, Ten-X, Homes.com, etc.). They will need to bring a strong operational mindset and leadership to the position. **Responsibilities** + Lead a team of Managers and individual contributors with a strong operational mindset to ensure individual metrics and quality standards are being met. + Develop and recruit strong operational leadership to support the organization. + Coach and develop Managers and individual contributor photographers to drive success + Ensure operational metrics are being met by teams, problem shoot obstacles, and provide on-going and real time feedback to managers and teams + Focus on continuous improvement of workflows and processes to drive optimization and innovation. + Collaborate with Sales leaders, Product, Research and IT to deliver the best visual product possible on behalf of our customers. + Develop world class on-boarding and training programs that focus on driving integration of new team members and the on-going development of photographers and managers. **Qualifications** + Bachelors degree required and Masters preferred + 10+ years of experience leading large-scale dispersed teams (200+) against deadlines and deliverables + Proven track record driving accountability with Managers and leading in a metric driven organization + Demonstrated ability to operate in fast paced environment with high creative and delivery standards + Ability to collaborate across functional areas to deliver assignments + Passion and interest in real estate as plus + Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s license. + Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start.
