Overview We’re looking for a Director of Audience Strategy to work with clients in the Food & Beverage and/or Hospitality industries. We are looking for: A master simplifier. What You’ll Achieve Omni-channel Campaign Audience Strategy Work with clients and internal team(s) to develop comprehensive Audience Strategies for campaigns throughout the year Define & understand campaign-specific target(s) with greatest opportunity to achieve respective campaign objectives Provide Go-To-Market Audience recommendations using available 1P, 2P, and 3P data across both paid media and owned channels Document campaign findings, articulate audience-specific performance, and socialize; leverage findings in future strategies Proactive Customer Planning Support proactive, ongoing efforts to understand key customer segments and socialize findings & recommended actions with internal and external clients. Data Strategy & Evolution In partnership with team leadership, maintain awareness of and support client data strategy/approach and evolution Ensure regular documentation of standard processes and success; socialize with leadership when needed Periodically support client and new team member onboarding efforts fostering broader understanding of data & tools available, existing processes, and capabilities. Client Interface & Communication Skills Frequent face-to-face client presence and collaboration, presenting and selling ideas to our client in partnership with cross-functional team. High-quality presentation, storytelling, communication and idea articulation skills are a must. Who You Are What you’ll bring with you: 7-10 years of relevant professional experience in building & implementing data driven marketing/audience strategies across paid media and/or CRM/lifecycle Understand, interpret and synthesize complex datasets from multiple sources (ex. CRM, media, social, and web analytics platforms) into a clear narrative for strategic decision-making Identify audience trends, gaps, and opportunities across touchpoints (e.g., acquisition, retention, loyalty) Develop and refine audience segmentation frameworks using behavioral, demographic, and psychographic data Prioritize high-value audiences based on performance metrics and business goals Ability to analyze audience performance across channels to determine what’s working, what’s not, and why Experience partnering with data science teams to use predictive modeling, lookalike modeling, and churn propensity analysis. Use of advanced analytics to inform personalization strategies and customer journey design. Ability to connect audience insights to broader business goals, translating data into strategic recommendations. Understand how to quantify (and socialize) the impact of audience strategies on revenue, media efficiency, and customer lifetime value. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail, including the ability to produce high-quality decks and present with confidence to senior marketing leaders Willing to perform both strategic and tactical functions Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with enterprise-level MarTech solutions used for onboarding data and activating across paid & owned channels (ESPs, CDPs, DMPs, DSPs, and/or identity solutions); Experience with Epsilon PeopleCloud Cleanroom and Epsilon 3p Data Sources is a plus Experience in consultative client engagements; Media &/or Digital Agency experience is a plus High intellectual curiosity, drive, and proactivity - always striving to self-educate and remain up to speed on the latest industry trends Comfortable leading/mentoring junior team members Quick Service Restaurant/Hospitality Industry experience Bachelors Degree required Flexibility to travel as needed is required Why you might stand out from other talent: Adaptability to different environments, personalities, and challenges; can find common ground with a wide variety of people.
