As the Director of Backend Engineering, you'll lead the development of scalable backend systems for our cutting-edge applications. Reporting to the SVP of Product, you'll guide a talented team and collaborate with Frontend, Product, QA, and Data teams to ensure seamless integration and top-tier performance. Your leadership and deep technical expertise will be key in shaping the reliable and efficient backbone of our products, aligning with our company's goals. You'll lead a team of backend engineers to deliver essential features for product and engineering teams, working closely with product managers to plan and budget work aligned with company priorities. You'll make practical decisions on software architecture, promote strong engineering practices, and ensure the team's success. Additionally, you'll maintain an efficient cloud infrastructure while managing costs effectively.
