United Helpers is seeking a Director of Buildings and Grounds for our RiverLedge Campus in Ogdensburg.

Responsibilities include developing, implementing, training and monitoring practical and effective preventative maintenance programs, assigning maintenance staff to jobs while monitoring their workmanship.

This is a leadership position and the holder will have the ability to hire, discipline and terminate employees. Annual employee evaluations must also be conducted. They will also work alongside Director of Facility Operations to identify and prioritize capital projects and create budgets for said work.

In addition to these duties as they relate to the property, overseeing vehicle maintenance is also required.

A current drivers’ license is required, as is a minimum of an Associate’s Degree or trade certificate with 5-years of experience in a related field. Previous leadership is also preferred.

The starting salary for this position is $58,460 to $64,106.
