The Director of Business Development will be responsible for developing or expanding customer and partner relationships and new business opportunities within the Apto Solutions portfolio.
Responsibilities Include:Expand the sales pipeline by leading the process of identifying, qualifying, and establishing new offerings that align to identify customer needsLead strategic initiatives that create new revenue streams for the companyMeet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your networkIdentify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization. Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/PrincipalsPlan approaches and pitches. Work with the team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectivesParticipate in pricing the solution/serviceTakes lead in RFQ/RFP ResponsesHandle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use an appropriate style to persuade or negotiate appropriatelyPresent an image that mirrors that of the clientRequirements:The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience of Solution Selling within different industry sectors, including financial, technology, MSP and healthcare.Experience in client relationship management, identifying opportunities with clients, networking and generating leadsExcellent written and verbal skillsDemonstrates a track record of achieving sales goals and metricsExperience in IT Asset Disposition, reverse logistics, or consultingExcellent time management and prioritization skillsExperience with service sales or complex sales cycles is a plusAbout You:Excessive entrepreneurial spirit and driveStrong leadership, negotiation, and influencing skillsTechnical understanding of customer requirementsStrong interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and organizational skillsExperience with the following:Consultative sales approachOutcome-orientedProduct/Service ExpertiseRelationship buildingNegotiation
