The Good Eating Company is seeking a Director of Catering and Sales in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

 

This Director of Catering and Sales will lead the special events, catering department, and all sales outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong background in event planning and management, excellent communication, a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences, and a strong drive to grow all sales and revenue streams. We're passionate about delectable, fresh food. The responsibilities of this role include:

Oversee the planning and execution of all events, ensuring they meet client expectationsCoordinate with clients to understand their event requirementsWork with the culinary team to ensure delivery of the menu  Prepare and manage budgets for each eventMonitor expenses and find cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality of serviceHire, train, and supervise event staffTrack and analyze key performance metrics, including revenue, expenses, and customer feedback, to make data-driven decisions and improvements   

 

The ideal candidate should have experience in:

Event planning and executionProven track record managing budgetsManaging a teamAnalyzing and tracking reportsSolving problems through innovation and industry/market trendsDiplomatic skills to work with customer and clients from around the world

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years   

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in catering, food production, or food service management or a related field
