Director of Clinical Development
**JOB PURPOSE:** PruittHealth is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Clinical Development to lead clinical training, quality improvement, and compliance initiatives across our healthcare facilities. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing programs that enhance clinical competencies, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve patient outcomes. The ideal candidate is a skilled healthcare professional with strong leadership abilities and a passion for developing clinical teams. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1. Develop and implement clinical training programs to ensure staff competency and compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations. 2. Collaborate with leadership to create and execute quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care. 3. Monitor clinical outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices. 4. Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and federal healthcare guidelines across all facilities. 5. Serve as a resource and mentor for clinical staff, providing guidance on best practices and professional development. 6. Oversee performance evaluations and competency assessments for nursing and clinical teams. 7. Lead efforts in integrating evidence-based clinical practices into daily operations. 8. Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in clinical care to continuously enhance PruittHealth’s services. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:** • Knowledge and able to follow ethical standards of the professing in honesty, loyalty, integrity and respect for others. • Working knowledge and ability to comply with facility policies and procedures for workplace safety including infection control procedures and application of universal precautions. • Able to multitask, be able to be working on several projects at a time and still respond to the needs of consultants, facilities, peers and corporate staff. • Strong organization and planning skills • Able to have effectively communicate (both written and orally) with physicians, staff, residents and families, consultants, and corporate staff in respect to all phases of dietary services. • Microsoft Office Suite • JACHO guidelines for LTC • State & Federal Regulations for LTC **MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:** • Active RN license in the state of practice (or eligibility for licensure). • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. **MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:** • Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical leadership experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting. **MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:** • Strong knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations, including CMS guidelines. • Experience in staff training, development, and quality improvement initiatives. • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to travel as needed to support clinical teams across PruittHealth locations. • Combination of Management and Clinical experience **Family Makes Us Stronger.** Our family, your family, one family.
