The Director of Clinical Education is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating enterprise educational programs that will enhance the clinical knowledge, skills, and performance of clinical leaders, nursing staff, Certified Home Health, rehab, memory care and assisted living staff. This role involves ongoing training and education, developing training materials, consistent onboarding for clinical leadership, delivering educational sessions, and supporting staff development within the enterprise. The Director of Clinical Education collaborates closely with clinical teams to ensure that best practices, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards are integrated into daily clinical practice.
**How you will make an impact:**
+ Design, implement, and continuously evaluate educational programs for clinical leadership, licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants, medication technicians, assisted living and memory care staff, certified home health and rehab to improve patient care and ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards.
+ Coordinate and conduct onboarding and orientation programs for new clinical leadership staff, ensuring they receive the foundational training needed for success in their roles.
+ Offer ongoing education and professional development opportunities to health services staff to enhance clinical skills, knowledge, and competency.
+ Design and conduct assessments for review and the Director of Clinical Operations to evaluate the clinical and leadership competency of staff.
+ Work closely with health services department leaders, clinical managers, and other educational staff to identify knowledge gaps and areas for improvement in policy and clinical practices. Based on training initiatives, provide feedback to Senior Director on best practices and appropriate assessment of those practices to include update and monitoring of training materials, conduct regular best practice assessments at all Erickson Senior Living Campuses, work with the Director of Clinical Operations to identify and implement action plans.
+ Ensure that educational initiatives align with CMS regulatory requirements, federal and state regulations in addition to Erickson policies and procedures as relevant. Conduct audits as needed for compliance.
+ Act as a mentor and resource for staff in the clinical setting, offering guidance on professional development, clinical practice, and onboarding for new clinical leaders. Support the new clinical leadership program and the ADON to DON leadership program.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience, range is $120-150k per year with annual bonus potential opportunity
**What you will need:**
+ Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing RN Program
+ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in skilled nursing Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing, preferred
+ Experience in Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care, Memory Care, Assisted living and Home Care preferred
+ Must possess valid, current state license
+ Be able to travel on average 6-8 days per month, or more frequently based on community need.
