Do you want to be an influencer in healthcare? **Apply for our Director of Clinical Operations role today!** **Job Summary and Qualifications** + Oversees the operations of the Nursing Administrative Services (House Supervisors, Staffing, RRT team, nursing and PCT/PSA float pools.) + Plans, directs and coordinates all operational activities for areas of responsibility. + Develops processes and policies as well as the quality improvement programs for areas of responsibility. + Develops capital and operating budgets. + Ensures areas of responsibility are appropriately staffed by hiring and retaining competent staff. + As a member of Medical Center of Arlington's leadership team makes a significant contribution to the public's perception of the hospital. + The Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for all department functions in support of the mission, vision, values of the facility. + Responsible for operations and the integration of the service within overall hospital functions and serves as an innovator and change agent. + Provides leadership to improve performance through assessment, planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the care and services within scope of responsibility, including direct oversight of the manager of patient care operations and throughput initiatives, as well as support of Administrative (House) Supervisors and Float Pool. + Maintains strategic partnerships with associated service line advanced practitioners and medical staff is expected. + Assures a high level of customer satisfaction and manages productivity to achieve budgetary targets. **What qualifications you will need:** **Education/Licensure/Certifications:** + Current Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted. + Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. + Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. **Experience:** + Three (3) to Five (5) years of management experience in healthcare. Medical City Arlington is a 435+ bed full-service hospital located in south Arlington.
