Job Description

The Director of Network Strategy is responsible for leading the strategic planning and optimization of Milestone One’s partnership with clinical research sites. The position requires a strong analytical mindset, cross-functional collaboration, and strong leadership skills. This role will drive long-term development strategies, ensuring all sales and operations efforts align with company objectives, operational efficiency, and market demand.

Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to optimize the operations, expansion, and efficiency of clinical research sites that partner with Milestone One.Operations: Responsible for the continued development of the Operations Department including the implementation of standard processes, policies, and procedures.Lead Optimization: Assess and refine the database of potential sites, ensuring maximum alignment with organizational goals.Market Analysis: Conduct competitive market research to inform site selection and development strategies.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, finance, and support functions to drive strategic initiatives.Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, regulatory bodies, industry partners, and professional organizations to ensure compliance and competitive positioning.Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.Leadership Development: Supervise, lead, and delegate work to a team of employees, as well as coaching, mentoring, and developing the team.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required. MBA degree preferred.

Experience

10+ years of experience in clinical research site network strategy, operations management, or site development, in a clinical trial or healthcare industry.Proven track record of developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive operational and financial performance.

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical skills with expertise in data-driven decision-making.Familiarity with site feasibility assessments and capacity planning.Strong knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscapes.

Behavioral Skills

Highly detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and accuracy.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Self-motivated, able to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
