The Director of Club Operations acts as an ambassador for the hotel and will provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceSupport the Club Director in the overall management and strategic direction of the Club, assuming the responsibilities of the Director in their absenceOversee the operations functions of the ClubSupervise all Club Associates including Club Leadership teamLead and support all departments in the achievement of their financial and operational targets through establishment of a positive culture, clear expectations and policy & procedural implementationAssist in the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the Club’s annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital BudgetSupport the planning and execution of Capital ExpendituresEnsure that monthly financial outlooks for all Club revenue streams are on time, on target and accurateEnsure full compliance to Club operating controls Actively involved in the recruitment and professional development process of Club leadership positionsResponsible for overseeing hiring and training of all Club staffEnsure all reviews for all departments are done in a timely mannerMaintain and improve SOP’s for all departmentsResponsible for maintaining the physical facilities at the highest level possible of cleanliness and functionWork closely with engineering to keep all facilities in working order including a PM programUnderstand pool chemistry and upkeep dynamicsDeveloping knowledge base for all Club disciplines and revenue streams by participating in and monitoring programsMaintain inventory and ordering of suppliesMonitor performance and attendance of all Club colleaguesAttend departmental meetingsOversee the ongoing daily standup meeting dynamicsMaintain a robust communication logResponsible for managing the quality assurance of the commercial cleaners and third party equipment maintenance vendorsProvide exceptional service to membersFollow up directly on members comments and concerns and maintain a customer feedback programGive prospective member tours in the absence or assistance to Membership Office.Ensure the Club MOD program is comprehensive and effectiveEnforce club rules and regulationsAdminister a member retention program to improve customer satisfaction and loyaltyAssist with the marketing of the club product, internally and externally working closely with the Director of MembershipRegularly participate in and oversee all activities and events scheduled for membersAttend regularly scheduled managers' and staff meetings in the Club and attend company-wide, resort-wide meetings.Follow department policies, procedures and service standardsInteract with guests in a friendly, service oriented manner.Follow all safety policies Perform any other job duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in a senior leadership role Extensive business operations experience required Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and financial controls Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required University/College degree in a related discipline preferred Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Highly responsible & reliable Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment Ability to work cohesively as part of a team Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesEnthusiastic with an outgoing personality who is very service driven Benefits
