Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As an individual contributor, this role will act as an internal compensation consultant to ASM Global’s corporate and field HR Business Partners and line of business leaders.
This role will require a high volume of compensation data collection and analysis using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Power Point, etc. to prepare and present compensation analysis to business units and Sr. Management for purposes of auditing, recommending, designing and implementing compensation plans.
Formulate compensation policies, procedures, and oversee technical leads to implement said policies and procedures into ASM Global’s compensation systems.
Educate business leaders, managers, and employees on the components of the compensation program and the goals of each to increase awareness of these programs in support of business objectives.
Act as internal consultant/advisor to leaders in the administration and interpretation of company compensation programs and policies work closely with business unit leaders to modify and adjust compensation practices as needed.
Participate in and oversee completion of compensation test scenarios or cases and work with assigned testing resources to ensure timely execution of solution testing.
Managing relationships with third party providers and external technical leads in support of compensation systems.
Overseeing ongoing compensation analysis of ASM Global’s pay practices vs. the market.
Survey market data to obtain job pricing and ensure the organizations competitiveness in local marketplaces.
Evaluate and analyze all compensation data, conduct job pricing, determine pay grades and recommend base salary changes.
Participate and provide accurate ad-hoc compensation research and studies results.
Review compensation programs for effectiveness and cost efficiencies.
Participate in annual salary and bonus administration processes.
Maintain current knowledge of legal, and regulatory factors that impact compensation practices. Keep current on trends in total reward strategies.
Audit compensation assignments in the Workday HCM system to ensure compliance to ASM Global’s polices, federal, state and local regulations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Experience with Workday Compensation strongly preferred
CCP/CEBS certifications preferred
SHRM certification a plus
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or two or more years related experience or training; Bachelor/Master’s degree is preferred
Skills and Abilities
Strong compensation knowledge including advanced compensation analysis
Requires 5+ years of hands-on compensation and change management experience
High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Clear written and verbal communications
Good punctuation, spelling, grammar, and attention to detail a must
Good time management skills
Work well in a team environment
Able to maintain confidential information
