We are looking for a Director of Compliance (f/m/d) for our location in Ettlingen.
Responsibilities Own global compliance policies, including drafting and periodically updating them after seeking key stakeholder input, and translating and communicating them to employees.Own the third-party management and transaction monitoring tools (e.g., Lextegrity / Compliance Navigator), including training, use, and application.Own global compliance training, including vendor selection and training content and rollouts, all in coordination with key stakeholders.Own the whistleblower hotline, Bruker’s investigation guidelines, and related training (including the development and circulation of hotline awareness materials).Triage incoming compliance complaints (whether through the whistleblower hotline or by other means), coordinating and working with internal and external counsel, as appropriate, to properly investigate in accordance with Bruker’s investigation guidelines.Ensure that Bruker’s General Counsel and Global Head of Compliance receives, as well as business group and regional general counsels receive, regular reports on compliance-related complaints and investigations relating to their areas of responsibility.Own global compliance-related communications, including Bruker’s periodic compliance newsletter.Coordinate and manage periodic compliance surveys and risk assessments. Coordinate with workers’ councils to achieve appropriate transparency and cooperation with respect to compliance matters (e.g., training, policies, and tools).Work with the Internal Audit team to develop and monitor control systems reasonably designed to prevent, reduce, or identify potential compliance violations.Help conduct compliance due diligence in support of mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.Keep abreast of legal and regulatory developments and best practices for corporate compliance programs.Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and external regulatory bodies, as required. QualificationsTo be successful in that position, you will need:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent (e.g., Fachhochschule) in law, business studies, or related fields.Relevant certifications in Compliance Management, CIA, CPA, CISA, or similar.Proficiency in German and English (minimum C1 level).3-5 years of leadership experience.At least five years of relevant work experience in a similar role at an international company, preferably with a similar background.
