We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Director, Client Relations with our CRO (Clinical Research Organization) at our corporate offices in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will lead a team focused on managing our pharma partner engagement efforts for partner meetings that regularly take place at our Nashville headquarters as well as those that take place off-site at medical conferences and other locations. Our leader will ensure the delivery of a well-coordinated, productive, world-class client experience.
Additionally, this individual will ensure the utilization of data-driven techniques to analyze business performance and identify opportunities for increased partner collaboration, sharing these insights across SCRI stakeholders in support of strategic planning efforts.
Focused on driving successful engagement with key industry partners, you will be personally responsible for managing several key partner relationships, identifying & removing barriers for increased collaboration, implementing growth strategy, and facilitating solutions that benefit both the partner & SCRI.
Success in this role will be demonstrated by your ability to ensure an outstanding customer engagement experience, empower data driven decisions influencing our business development strategic vision and your ability to advance SCRIs position with key pharma partners.
Duties and Accountabilities:
Oversee client meeting management activity taking place both in the Nashville office and offsite.Work closely with Strategic Relationship Executives and other business stakeholders to execute a world class customer engagement experience.Represent BD during customer meetings.Supervise Strategic Account Specialist in their activities associated with client meeting management & conference planning.Supervise Meeting CoordinatorServe as primary liaison with SCRI Business Intelligence & McKesson Stakeholder Intelligence TeamsCollaborate closely with BI colleagues on exploratory data analysis (EDA) to gain a better understanding of the data, identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, and generate hypothesis for further investigation.Supervise BD Business Intelligence Analyst, providing direction on reporting needs and priority projects.Partner closely with business stakeholders and enable team members to identify and scope problems, opportunities, and objectives that can be addressed using data-driven approaches.Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance, identify areas for improvement, and monitor the impact of changes or initiatives.Present data-driven recommendations to business stakeholders, helping them to make informed decisions and improve operations, products, or services.Account Management responsibility.Monitor partner satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.Identify opportunities to expand partner Book of Work, leveraging various SCRI service offerings as solution to alleviate customer identified challenges.Collaborate across SCRI/McKesson/HCA stakeholders to ensure the successful execution on projects and initiatives.Understand clients’ clinical development objectives & challenges so you can provide strategic guidance & support to address their needs.Collaborate closely with Strategic Partnership Executives & SMO Relationship Managers in managing needs of key SMO partners.Develop and manage relationships with a select group of pharma partners, serving as their primary point of contact.
Qualifications required and desired:
Bachelor's Degree completedMinimum 5+ years professional experience in a similar role in the CRO or pharmaceutical industry to include:A thorough understanding of the oncology trial landscape and how pharma/biotech partners operate within this environmentClient relations / account management experience is requiredBusiness Development and sales experience in this industry are a strong plus.Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding targets, strategic thinking, and creative problem solvingStrong analytical skills with Business Intelligence experience interpreting data and make data-driven decisions in a timely mannerPrevious people management experience is highly desired / preferredAbout Sarah Cannon Research Institute
