Director of Distribution Administration & Compliance
AA Club Alliance is currently seeking a Director of Distribution of Administration and Compliance to join our organization in Wilmington, DE. Duties & Responsibilities: + Sets the strategic direction of the Business Operations Administrators including interviewing, hiring, directing, setting goals, educating, mentoring, coaching and evaluating performance in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. + Effectively manages the development, monitoring and interpretation of on-demand and interval based (monthly, quarterly, etc.) business line financial reports. + Provides direction for the development and maintenance of complex forecasting models that assist in determining and predicting overall impact of roadside assistance costs to the financial health of both the business line and organization. + Creates vision and leads the strategy for planning and implementing process improvement, operating model optimization, and organizational design/integration initiatives for Automotive Solutions, Travel, Car Care, Retail & Contact Centers. + Determines and tracks expected productivity improvement and savings from process improvement efforts tying savings to P&L. + Participates in strategic planning sessions with a focus on expansion and support of operational efficiencies. + Oversees and manages efficient processing and auditing of Club reciprocals and AAA Roadside Assistance Programs (RAP) to ensure accuracy in payments to, and collections from affiliated AAA clubs and AAA National. + Partners with Automotive Solutions Management to provide input on Roadside Assistance contracts, contractor rates and incentive compensation programs. Oversee the process for calculating monthly bonuses and incentives for Automotive Services variable pay programs. + Lead the process for the annual business line budget to include the development and consolidation of the budget for the entire Automotive Solutions, Travel, Car Care, Retail & Contact Center business lines; assists with the preparation of the annual Automotive Solutions roadside assistance calls budget for the Contract Network. + Manage monthly budget variances, balance sheet and financial reporting including providing daily, weekly and monthly management reports summarizing Roadside Assistance costs. + Prepare corporate business documents including business plans, Club operations reports and regional/company board reports and contribute to the production of executive level presentations and reports for key business imperatives throughout the business line and participate in strategic planning. + Advises or Consults with management regarding financial planning, financial results, business standards and financial rule compliance including, but not limited to, proactive financial reporting to help the business line understand the financial health of our products and programs and develop action plans to respond to any adverse trends. + Accountable for the execution of action items stemming from internal audit activities and reviews and ensures executed items are implemented and maintained. Requirements & Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred. + 10 years of relevant experience demonstrating increasing responsibility is required + 3 years of supervisory experience preferred. + 5 years of accounting or accounts payable environment experience. + Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Access, Visio and PowerPoint; report writing, and Internet/Intranet. + Strong background in Distributed models preferred.
