As Director of DRAM Module & Systems QRA in the Global Quality (GQ) team at Micron Technology Inc., you will ensure the highest quality and reliability of DRAM module product development, qualification, and manufacturing processes. You will manage a highly technical engineering team, define quality and reliability requirements, resolve product technology/engineering issues, and establish standards for new technologies and products. You will also support module quality issue resolution for customers.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Manage Team Member Performance

Establish functional area objectives aligned to department and corporate strategic objectives and align IPP goalsEstablish job responsibilities and performance and development goals for direct reportsProvide performance feedback on an on-going basis and conduct performance appraisal for direct reportsCollect, review, and provide verbal and written performance feedback to continuously develop your functional areaMonitor and manage functional area performance achievementCoach, mentor and develop direct reports and future leadersManage and ensure conflict resolutionProvide and support recognition

Build an Effective Team

Establish functional area objectives, align roles and responsibilities, and communicate line of sight to department and company strategic objectivesRemove barriers and drive for accountabilityOptimize functional area performance and structureAnalyze talent and establish talent management strategies to implement objectivesEvaluate and support learning opportunities in your functional area and plan development opportunities with direct reportsEmpower team members and promote teamworkEnsure partnerships across functional areas and customer groups

Manage Functional Area Service Delivery

Develop and implement functional area objectives and strategiesCoordinate work execution and problem solvingManage the troubleshooting of advanced issues and drive resolutionCoordinate and communicate departmental policy and proceduresManage adherence to departmental policy and procedures and provide feedbackEnsure team members are adequately trained according to department compliance and work requirementsManage internal budgetsIdentify and implement system and process improvementsDevelop, communicate, and manage functional area performance metricsManage, engage in, and promote continuous cost reduction and quality improvement efforts

Provide Organizational Leadership to Build Functional Strategies, Processes, and Policy
