Responsibilities

PURPOSE:

The Director of Education will be responsible to ensure that Kaizen Event’s within the internal operating systems are properly set up for success while utilizing Lean Tools to improve multiple processes and functions.

 

RESPONSIBLITIES:

Lead and Ensure that Kaizen Event’s are properly set up for success. Lead continuous improvement events using various Lean tools to enhance processes. Ensure high-quality and standardized execution. Provide Educational Materials to said events including but not limited to- commercial material reports, facilitator notes, learning exercises, lean tool details and other reports as needed. Work closely with Human Resources and other training groups to share best practices. Evaluate effectiveness of educational materials and facilitators. Maintain event history and track success rates with team members. Develop and teach new management practices and tools. Benchmark and promote best practices across the company.Implement operating system strategies in newly acquired companies. Enhance the organization’s Lean skills, including training, coaching, and development opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.Ability to deliver presentations to groups of all sizes. Ability to work well independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Ability to travel- (30% potential).Strong working knowledge of Berry’s Performance MetricsExperience in reporting to Executive LeadershipComfortable with working with a Global Team and Global HoursWorking knowledge of 6Sigman Problem Solving (Green Belt)
