Job DescriptionJoin our Payment Ecosystem Risk and Controls (PERC) team as the Director of Engagement Strategy. We're a Global Risk function dedicated to safeguarding the security and integrity of the payment ecosystem from illegal and fraudulent activities. This role is responsible for evaluating Visa’s engagement with ecosystem partners, refining value propositions, identifying communication strategies, addressing strategic issues, analyzing market trends, and identifying strategic gaps and growth opportunities. The position requires a collaborative leader with presence who can work with internal and external stakeholders to develop strategic initiatives, plans and messaging, ensuring they align with Visa's business values and its growth across Visa Commercial, Money Movement Solutions, and Value Added Services. You'll change policies, programs, narratives, and capabilities to tackle emerging risks, improve Visa’s proactive market positioning and drive partnerships.

Evaluate Engagement Assess Visa's engagement with ecosystem partners compared to competitors.Refine Value Proposition Evolve Visa's value proposition for ecosystem partners over time.Communication Strategy Develop and implement communication initiatives to enhance ERP security and public trust, ensuring positive external narratives.Stakeholder Engagement Shape strategies and deepen engagement, adapting to evolving payment and threat landscapes.Communication Planning Drive communication lifecycle plans through sentiment analysis, media effectiveness assessments, collaboration, and strategic planning.Narrative Crafting Create compelling narratives and communication collateral to position Visa's risk programs, highlighting unique features and benefits.Policy and Regulatory Engagement Collaborate with legal, investor relations, regulators, policy makers, industry partners, and advocacy groups to develop policies enhancing payment ecosystem safety and integrity.Collaborative Strategy Development Partner with corporate communications, legal, and other stakeholders to develop narratives and strategies for emerging risks.Project Management Develop and execute project plans, perform risk analyses, and ensure timely delivery of communications and programs.KRI Goals Design and implement scalable knowledge management solutions to meet Key Risk Indicator (KRI) goals.Cross-functional Collaboration Work with cross-functional teams to advance security and integrity projects. Regulatory Compliance Collaborate with Legal for regulatory landscape scanning and required program updates.Regional Risk Team Engagement Regularly engage with regional risk teams for consistent messaging and feedback.Training and Governance Develop and support training, implement governance, and contribute to program MIS and reporting.Advocacy Group Strategy Develop engagement and communication strategies with advocacy groups related to ecosystem engagement.External Representation Develop content and represent Visa at media and speaking events.QualificationsBasic qualifications
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD) or a minimum of 3 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred qualifications

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 137,300 to 234,200 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
