Director of Engineering – Test Framework

Build the future of the AI Data Cloud. Join the Snowflake team.

The Snowflake AI Data Cloud is growing at an exceptional pace- adding innovative new features and capabilities as well as continuing to scale the service across multiple clouds, many exabytes of data, and the entire globe. Snowflake AI Data Cloud is feature rich, highly reliable, scalable and performant. Our test frameworks need to scale ahead of our services to meet the testing needs. We invest in innovations in each layer of our test framework - unit test, integration test, regression test, performance test and Snowtrail tests. Together, these teams build product quality systems, tools, and infrastructure that enable our engineers to focus on delivering high quality features to our customers fast. For example, Query replay using Snowtrail allows us to catch regressions early. Using Machine Learning models to sample queries and workloads allows us to optimize for cost and performance.
