A Director of Engineering will manage the Engineering Team to efficiently maintain all hotel operations such that safety, security, conversation, and compliance are ensured at the highest levels\. **What will I be doing?** This position reports to the Hotel Manager\. The Director of Engineering is responsible for the day\-to\-day operations of the engineering division\. The Director will assume administrative, financial, and operating aspects of Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center as they relate to engineering\. + Lead the Engineering Team in the day\-to\-day engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel, including service standards, equipment schedules, and work schedules + Assist in developing and implementing plans to maintain property, equipment, grounds and other assets in a safe and acceptable state of repair\. + Develop systems and procedures to ensure the health and safety of Guests and Team Members, as well as the proper conditions for plants, machinery, and property + Identify and introduce environmentally friendly systems and equipment + Monitor Key Performance Indicators for the Engineering Department and take corrective action, as required, to improve equipment inventory, quality audit, productivity, and other objectives + Ensure the hotel is in compliance with all local laws relevant with Engineering\. + Supervise and train all Engineering staff; comprising 38 \(FTE\) Employees; in Customer Service, Standard Operating and Maintenance Procedures + Create and post all Engineering staffs schedules\. + Prepare and manage annual R&M and FF&E Budgets approved by management\. + Create and implement preventative maintenance program for all hotel equipment\. + Ensure all emergency and life safety equipment and systems are inspected, tested and certified per Hilton Hotels standards\. + Actively participate in energy conservation and optimization programs\. + Review all guest and meeting planner comment cards to ensure problems are identified and corrected in a timely manner\. + Assist with the administration of all vendor contracts and subcontractors controlled by the engineering department\. + Ensure that room maintenance requests are handled in a prompt and courteous manner\. + Assist as necessary with special projects and renovations\. + Actively coordinate main building/infrastructural issues and collaborate with related parties for raising proper solutions on day\-to\-day operation\. + Participate in Hilton Hotel Safety Committee\. **What are we looking for?** A Director of Engineering serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members\.
