Job Description

Events are integral to ServiceNow’s success in fostering connections, building relationships, and amplifying our brand. The Director of Executive Experiences will play a critical role in curating and executing high-impact events that reflect ServiceNow’s excellence, innovation, and values. This role demands an individual with impeccable taste, a deep understanding of executive-level engagement, and the ability to deliver extraordinary experiences that leave a lasting impression.

As the Director of Executive Experiences, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and execution of executive events at our flagship events, including Knowledge, World Forum, and other strategic programs. You will partner closely with senior executives and internal stakeholders to ensure these high-touch experiences reflect ServiceNow’s values and business goals. The Director will oversee the entire event's lifecycle, ensuring every detail is executed flawlessly.

This is a dynamic, results-driven role that requires an individual with significant event management expertise, a keen eye for design and innovation, and the ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously while consistently delivering outstanding experiences.

What you get to do in this role:

Event Planning and Coordination:Develop and manage the event strategy for executive-level gatherings within the ServiceNow portfolio of events including Knowledge and World Forums.Collaborate with internal teams to determine event objectives, themes, and formats.Lead the planning and execution of executive-level events within the ServiceNow portfolio, including Knowledge, World Forum, conferences, and the Meeting Center.Develop and manage event strategies that align with organizational goals and executive needs, ensuring each event reflects ServiceNow’s values and culture.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define event objectives, themes, formats, and key outcomes, ensuring seamless integration across all touchpoints.Oversee all event logistics, from venue selection and catering to audiovisual needs and transportation, ensuring that all aspects are executed flawlessly.Manage event budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently, meeting deadlines and staying within financial parameters.Stakeholder Engagement:Serve as the primary point of contact for executives and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external partners, including vendors, agencies and field marketing.Experience Design and Innovation:Curate unique and memorable experiences that resonate with executive audiences, incorporating innovative ideas and trends.Gather feedback from participants to continuously improve future events.Curate unique, impactful, and memorable experiences that resonate with senior executive audiences, incorporating the latest trends, technologies, and creative concepts.Maintain a keen understanding of evolving industry best practices and innovate to ensure each event exceeds expectations.Solicit and analyze feedback from event participants to drive continuous improvement and refine future event strategies.

 

QualificationsExperience: 15+ years of experience in event management, with a proven track record of successfully leading high-profile executive events and programs.Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams and working closely with senior leadership to deliver strategic event initiatives.Innovation & Design: A creative and strategic thinker, capable of designing unique, sophisticated, and memorable executive experiences.Attention to Detail: An impeccable eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to executing flawless events.Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with executives, stakeholders, and vendors at all levels.Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex logistics while maintaining focus on quality and timelines.Metrics-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate event performance and leverage data to inform future planning.Travel: Flexibility to travel as required for event execution.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $159,400 - $279,000, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
