We are actively seeking a facilities professional to join our experienced team as the Director of Facilities who will direct the department's activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare facilities management, regulatory requirements, and a proven track record in a similar role. Job Description: The Work: + Plans, improves, and maintains owned and leased facilities and equipment. + Provides coordination and direction in the design, review, and specifications of construction and remodel projects with architects and administration. Monitors day to day activities and work on Engineering, Plant Operations, and Grounds. Provides oversight as needed for contractors and construction managers. + Oversees the preparation and evaluation of departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding + Prepares and implements the organization’s capital budget for facilities upkeep and maintenance + Coordinates and directs internal/external audits You Have: + Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) by the American Hospital Associate highly preferred + 5+ years of experience in facilities management within a healthcare setting + Experience with maintaining a constant state of readiness to comply with Joint Commission and CMS Life Safety and Environment of Care standards as well as OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other federal, state, and local regulatory agency standards + Experience with Behavioral Health facilities (particularly with ligature risk assessments) + Previous project management experience preferred + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills + Excellent communication and negotiation abilities + Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Scheduled Work Shift: Job Exempt: Yes Benefits: Supporting all aspects of our employees’ wellness – physical, emotional and financial – is a critical component of being a great place to work.
