Director of Field Placements, Assistant/Associate Professor of Law,

The Belmont University College of Law invites applications for a full-time faculty position to serve as the Director of Field Placements to begin in Fall of 2025. In consultation with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, the candidate can choose to join the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Law on tenure track or as an Assistant Professor of Legal Practice.

The Director of Field Placements will be responsible for supervising and managing students participating in field placements and summer externships at local, regional, and national sites as part of Belmont Law’s Experiential Learning Program. The Director will be responsible for applicable instruction and curriculum development, site partner relationships, as well as management of all other aspects of administering the program in compliance with ABA Standards. This position will be a twelve-month appointment.
