Lincoln Tech's Corporate Office, in Parsippany, NJ, is seeking a Director of Finance who will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the Company. This position will manage all aspects of the financial close and external audits while establishing and maintaining appropriate financial processes and internal controls. This is a hybrid opportunity. Responsibilities of a Director of Finance + Oversee monthly/quarterly close processes + Perform detailed trial balance review quarterly ensuring all accounts are analyzed and accurate + Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports delivered to Executive Management including documentation of material variance comparing actuals to prior period and budget + Assist in developing with annual budget and subsequent forecasts + Manage various financial and regulatory audits, both internally and externally + Assist in the preparation of press releases and SEC reporting requirements including MD&A and pertinent supporting schedules + Analyze financial trends to reduce risks and provide management appropriate analysis to enable timely financial decisions + Lead/assist in special Finance projects and team to streamline processes and improve operations and financial results + Assist CFO / Controllers with technical accounting research through use of the Accounting Standards Codification (i.e. technical library, dart). + Provide support and help mentor the staff in the finance department Requirements of a Director of Finance + Master's Degree in Accounting or CPA certification + 10+ years of experience in accounting + Ability to organize multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines effectively + Experience in Excel, Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint + Excellent mathematical and analysis skills Full-Time Benefits + Medical, Dental, Vision + Life and Disability Insurance + 401(k) with Company Match + Paid Time Off and Holidays + Growth Opportunities About Us For over 75 years Lincoln Tech has been one of the nation's leading providers of career training in Healthcare, Automotive/Diesel, Skilled Trades, Information Technology, Cosmetology, and Culinary Arts.
