Director of Finance
**Position Purpose:** The Director of Finance is responsible for all financial affairs associated with the Pine Ridge consolidation including both Hospital and Clinic based services. These functions include support as a resource for all departments for financial related questions. The position also serves as a contact for corporate and external agencies (regulatory, reimbursement, consultants, etc) while performing projects and other duties assigned by the Market CFO. **Position Qualifications:** B.S. Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution; Master Degree in Healthcare is preferred; 7+ years of progress accounting experience plus 3+ years of managerial experience Position is 100% on site **General Duties:** While maintaining the company’s policies and procedures, the Director of Finance will + prepare monthly financial statements and analyze account activity + coordinate the capital expenditure process and reporting + prepare annual operating and capital budgets, cost report data, and other governmental and statistical reports + prepare and collaborate with external accounting, management or consulting firms for both internal and external audits, surveys and studies + prepare and submit assigned corporate reports accurately and in accordance with corporate guidelines + prepare and ensure timely distribution of monthly departmental operating reports to department managers in a timely + prepare monthly exhibits for the accurate presentation of all third party reimbursement contractual allowances and bad debts + perform and coordinate special projects as needed + ensure all reporting to internal and/or external agencies is done accurately and timely + manage all aspects of the month end closing process including preparation and review of journal entries, financial statements and statistics while maintaining timely reporting + prepare and coordinate workpapers for the financial statements, cost reports and tax returns as required by corporate + supervises the financial staff members + performs other duties as assigned **Managerial Skills:** + Demonstrates creativity, intelligence and discretion in planning, organizing and coordination of the finance departmental functions + Assesses situations and alternatives while choosing the appropriate course of action with few errors + Conducts and participates in departmental meetings when necessary + Prepares and provides for department needs within budget guidelines + Actively participates in managerial meetings + Provides training and orientation of new employees + Evaluates employees timely and accurately INDLEAD To apply, please email mary_yu@chs.net Equal Employment Opportunity This organization does not discriminate in any way to deprive any person of employment opportunities or otherwise adversely affect the status of any employee because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, citizenship, veteran status, or military or uniformed services, in accordance with all applicable governmental laws and regulations.
