Position: Director of Finance
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Location: Holy Spirit Retirement Home, serving our Retirement Home and Foundation
About Us:
Holy Spirit Retirement Home, a nonprofit, faith-based organization, has been providing exceptional care since the 1960s. We're currently seeking an experienced Director of Finance to oversee our financial operations.
Responsibilities:
+ Manage treasury, accounting, and budgeting for the Retirement Home and Foundation.
+ Supervise accounts receivable/payable and resident billing.
+ Prepare audit workpapers and ensure accounting controls.
+ Oversee payroll, benefits, and compliance reporting.
+ Issue financial statements and annual budgets for board review.
+ Coordinate annual reports and Foundation contributions.
+ Support special projects and organizational needs.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting (required), 5-7 years' experience (medical environment preferred).
+ Strong expertise in general ledger, payroll, auditing, and financial reporting.
+ Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and presentations.
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
+ Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
+ Valid driver’s license and occasional evening/weekend availability.
