Description We are looking for a highly experienced finance and accounting expert to join our team in Lake Worth, Florida. This Contract position is ideal for a candidate with advanced expertise in QuickBooks Online and a strong background in managing financial operations. The role requires an individual with at least seven years of experience, preferably within the real estate or property management industry. Responsibilities: • Oversee monthly financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in QuickBooks Online. • Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements to support organizational decision-making. • Manage and review journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. • Supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to maintain efficient cash flow. • Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed. • Monitor and maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide ad hoc financial analysis and insights. • Ensure compliance with financial audits and address any audit-related requirements. • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to optimize operations. Requirements • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, with certification required. • A minimum of seven years of experience in finance and accounting roles. • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger management. • Proven ability to prepare and interpret financial statements and audits. • Expertise in managing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. • Familiarity with real estate or property management industry practices preferred. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills to handle complex financial tasks. • Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, without exceptions.
