Responsible for the overall leadership, direction & mgmt. of Finance/Actg. & Revenue Ofc ops. & staff; implementation & mgmt. of applicable internal controls; prepare reports & provide presentations for the Board & community by performing high-level administrative, technical & professional work. Req: BA/BS Actg. & seven (7) yrs. related exp. automated financial/acctg. systems, incl five (5) yrs. supervisory exp. or equivalent combo. CPA certified or MBA preferred w/five (5) yrs. public sector exp. also preferred. Strong computer & presentation skills w/thorough knowledge of current public sector principles, practices & methods of actg,, auditing & budgeting. Knowledge of FASB & GASB pronouncements & the rules/preparation of financial statement that comply. Knowledge of Tyler Enterprise system and experience w/Nevada specific reporting requirements a plus. DETAILS IN JOB ANNOUNCEMENT. Position OPEN UNTIL FILLED. Salary: $214,000 - $230,000/yr.
