Director of Financial Reporting & Consolidation

Director of Financial Reporting & Consolidation, Axel Springer USA Inc., New York, NY: 

Support group companies in financial reporting and consolidation of financials for translation to parent company systems. Work alongside finance teams to prepare monthly and quarterly financial packages. Partner with our German-based parent company to project manage deliverables across the group, including financial reporting and budget submissions. Support CFO with management of parent company-based financial reporting initiatives. Prepare ad hoc and other financial analysis in presentations. Create efficient processes for converting local financial into Axel Springer IFRS/SAP.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Offered wage: $155,000 to $165,000.00 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Of the required experience, must have 8 years of experience in each of the following: 
 

•   Preparing financial reports that comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);

•   Preparing monthly and quarterly financial packages; 


•   Managing project deliverables, including financial reports and/or budget submissions; 


•   Creating processes for conversion of local financial results to IFRS; 


•   Using SAP accounting software to create IFRS-compliant financial reports; 


•   Financial analysis, including one or a combination of the following: data analysis, financial results interpretation, or statistical analysis;  


•   Preparing executive-level financial presentations; 


•   Communicating with senior-level executives through business writing and oral presentations.,  
 


Telecommuting permitted up to 75%
