The Director of Food Beverage functions as the strategic business leader of the property’s food and beverage operation, including Restaurants, Bars, Room Service and Banquets/Events. Position oversees the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives. Oversees the all FB operations are carried out professionally, to standards and at the highest level of service within the hotel operated by Hyatt.
Key Duties Responsibilities:
Oversee daily food and beverage operations across all dining venues, ensuring quality, efficiency and exceptional serviceResponsible for short- and long-term planning and the management of the Food and Beverage operations in the front and back of the housePrepare and manage the food and beverage budget, optimizing and generating revenue and controlling costs while maintaining high standards.Develop strategies to enhance guest engagement and satisfaction, including special events, tastings, and culinary demonstrations.Participate in total hotel management as a member of the Leadership CommitteeDevelop, recommend implement and maintain FB sales/marketing programs.Direct and oversee development of colleagues.Hire, train, empower, coach and counsel and performance reviewsCoordinate food and beverage operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest serviceResolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and qualityExercise quality control for both food and beverageMaintaining Hyatt standards of service and ensure their implementationPerforming daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standardsMaintain communications with corporate teamCoach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt service standards and proceduresSUMMARY:
