Job Description

 

The Director, Global Accounts is responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strategic sales initiatives within the Mid-Atlantic market. This person will focus on building strong relationships with association, corporate and group clients, ensuring Omni remains a preferred partner. Success is measured through increased revenues from this market, improved account revenue, market share and overall sales effectiveness.

 

This position is remotely based | Candidates must reside in the Mid-Atlantic territory.

 

Responsibilities

 

Identify and cultivate business opportunities across the Mid-Atlantic regionDevelop and execute targeted sales strategies that align with Omni’s brand vision and revenue goalsFoster and maintain strong partnerships with key accounts, meeting planners, travel buyers and decision makersUse pricing strategies and financial business principles to increase strategic market revenue growthDevelops and supports the design of products, services and events that deliver unique customer value, and organizes activities and resources in a manner that maximizes productivity and efficiencyDeploys technology (SalesForce) to maximize efficiency and sales production resultsCollaborate with peers on tradeshow and customer event strategies to achieve maximum resultsWork closely with property-level sales teams to maximize revenue opportunities and enhance client experienceServe as an ambassador for Omni Hotels & Resorts at industry events and networking functionsSupports the negotiation of the best possible contract terms and conditions that satisfies customer (internal and external) requirementsReview and evaluate account deployment, forecast account production and analysis. Qualifications

 

Proven experience in hospitality sales, preferably in the Mid-Atlantic marketStrong understanding of association and corporate group strategiesSeeks input and opinions from all relevant parties. Secures all facts prior to making decisions.Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skillsSelf-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentWillingness to travel within region and beyond as needed5+ years of hotel sales experienceGlobal Sales or National Sales Experience preferredProficient in use of Excel, Word, ZoomInfo, Knowland reporting and Salesforce database tool.Has worked remotely previously and been successfulAvailable for travel when needed

 

Physical Requirements:

The ability to sit and utilize telephone/computer for an extended period.

 

Working Environment:

Home Office conditions.

Computer, copy/print/scan
