• This position will report to Head of Hyatt Sales Force, North and South East Asia
• The Director of Global Sales will have defined goals with a strong focus on market share growth and development of accounts primarily focused on our growing portfolio of Lifestyle hotels . These will include corporate segments, entertainment, wholesale and agencies primarily based out of the South East Asia region and will cover both transient and group.
• This position will also be a Global sales resource for our lifestyle hotels in market to leverage for support and to tap into our global sales resources globally.
• This position will be responsible for developing strategic accounts focused on market share shift from our competition with strategic Account plans, targeted sales calls and events for this segment and securing business for our lifestyle brands and hotels globally. This position will also be responsible for supporting our lifestyle brands and hotels in market through proactive and coordinated hotel sales missions, tradeshows and events.
• This position will have a significant business development approach on new accounts yet to be tapped into.
• Travel for meeting Planner and corporate visits, annual account reviews, trade shows and hotel familiarization trips will be required throughout the year.
• Responsibilities include overall Account Management, RFP’s, programs, promotions and B2B marketing opportunities. This individual will be responsible for achieving semi-annual quota with a focus on share-shift and maintaining travel expenses within the set budget.
• Continuously analyze and evaluate key markets, vertical segments and seller performance to ensure deployment strategy maximizes revenue opportunities, sellers are incentivized appropriately, and that we have the key results necessary to drive further innovation and sales growth
• Build and develop relationships, representing the organization with key distributors and customers
• Develop strong business relationships with the key internal business partners to understand and deliver on their needs, as well as drive their engagement with our sales strategies, tools and systems
• Sales Calls, Account Management, Driving Revenue Market share shift to Hyatt hotels, especially our Lifestyle brands
• Implement a strategy plan for a portfolio of Accounts/ New accounts, in order to meet/or exceed revenue/market share goals
• Supporting and implementing Global Corporate, LLL and MICE Sales Strategies in market.
• Business travel to Account portfolio, QBR’s, Tradeshows, Fam Trips and internal meetings where necessary
• Orchestration of quarterly account and market action plans and collaborating with other hotel based Directors Managers to drive production and revenue to both group and event segments from Corporate Accounts
• Able to work independently and makes decisions based on established policies and procedures
• Account management and RFP negotiations on existing and new Corporate and Meeting Planner accounts
• Supports/leads coordinates tradeshows, events, sales mission in market (like Hyatt Fairs, Hyatt Events and product updates) along with collaborating with the Global HSF team and other business functions to successfully implement these activities
• Provide feedback to Head of Sales – North and South East Asia and our lifestyle hotels on market conditions, forecasts and recommendations

Experience
• Written and spoken proficiency in English is a requirement for this position
• 8 years’ experience working in hotels sales function, global sales experience is preferred especially in the lifestyle and luxury space.
• Strong Sales and Marketing operational experience.
• Organizing Administering - works collaboratively – excellent manager of 3rd party and internal resources to achieve a collective goal. Can rally resources (people, funding, support, etc.) to get things done. Monitors and manages timelines effectively.
• Priority Setting - Is able to work in a deadline and performance oriented environment.
