Collegiate Sports This position is responsible for serving as Head Coach of the Intercollegiate Men's and Women's Golf program and limited management assistance at the Harry Mussatto Golf Course and the Chown Golf Learning Center at Western Illinois University.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree; demonstrated knowledge of the USGA Rules of Golf and golf equipment; demonstrated knowledge of managing a budget and bookkeeping; demonstrated experience coaching golf at the intercollegiate level, including responsibilities such as effective budget management, travel planning, and scheduling.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree; PGA or LPGA status; progressive experience coaching golf at the NCAA intercollegiate level; proven record of successful recruitment of college-level academically and athletically prepared student-athletes.For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body). Unless otherwise stated, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment.
