Ellicott Center is seeking a Director of Housekeeping for our skilled nursing facility located in Buffalo, NY!

DUTIES:

Supervise all personnel in the Housekeeping/ Laundry DepartmentMaintain a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout our facilityPlan/coordinate work schedules and assign staff to established work areas & dutiesAttend & participate in departmental staff meetings, development/training coursesProvide individual guidance & motivation to employeesAssign equipment to staff; monitor daily equipment use, cleaning & maintenanceEnsure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have prior housekeeping management experienceMinimum a high school diploma or equivalentCourse in institutional housekeeping management is preferredStrong work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for quality & customer serviceExcellent written & oral communication skills and great problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of budgeting processes, awareness of profit & loss conceptsExcellent administrative and organizational skills and an ability to prioritizeStrong stress management and leadership skills required
