Responsibilities

The Director of HR Shared Services (HRSS) is responsible for overseeing the strategic development, operations, and continuous improvement of the HR Shared Services program. This role includes managing all aspects of HRSS operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:HRSS Operations ManagementOversee the comprehensive HR Shared Services operations, including data administration, benefits administration (including annual benefits enrollment), leave administration, document management, associate call and case management, and vendor management.Ensure seamless integration and operation across all HRSS functions to provide effective and efficient services to associates.Service Standards and Performance MetricsCreate, monitor, and maintain service standards, performance metrics, and audit procedures.Regularly evaluate and improve service delivery to ensure standards are consistently met and exceeded.Establish and manage quality control processes to ensure consistent and high-performance levels.Continuous Improvement & Service Delivery ExcellenceIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement within the HRSS operation and service delivery processes.Lead initiatives that enhance the HR Service Delivery model, including HR Portals, Knowledgebase, Case Management, and Telephony applications.Ensure timely escalation and resolution of customer concerns, following an established service hierarchy for accurate and efficient issue resolution.Document ManagementOversee the document management process, ensuring proper handling, storage, and maintenance of HR-related documents.Lead efforts to improve the document management process, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and ease of access.Staffing & Operational ExcellenceDrive the development and execution of effective HRSS operational strategies, including recruiting, training, coaching, and recognition programs.Optimize workflow patterns, delineate duties and responsibilities, establish performance standards, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.Foster a high-performing team environment with a focus on continuous development and performance excellence.Escalation & Decision SupportProvide escalation support, applying sound judgment to resolve complex issues and ensuring timely resolution of challenges.Work independently and with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for key decisions and outcomes.Collaboration & System EnhancementsCollaborate with HRSS leadership and other stakeholders to identify and implement process, policy, and system improvements.Participate in cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and solutions that improve HRSS processes and services.Culture & Inclusion LeadershipLead initiatives that promote a culture of appreciation, belonging, inclusivity, diversity, and equity within HRSS operations.Support the HR organization in driving a positive consumer and associate experience, enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.
Requirements

Education:


• High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.


Additional Preferences Key Qualifications & Skills:Extensive experience in HR Shared Services, with a focus on service delivery, operations management, and continuous improvement.Proven leadership ability to manage teams, develop strategies, and drive operational excellence.Strong knowledge of HR technologies, including HR portals, case management systems, and telephony applications.Expertise in benefits administration, leave management, and document management processes.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong focus on building inclusive, diverse, and high-performing teams.Ability to work with minimal supervision, make decisive judgments, and lead initiatives that improve HR services and employee experiences.

This role is pivotal to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR Shared Services, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and service excellence. The Director will lead a dynamic team, drive process improvements, and foster a culture that supports organizational goals and enhances the employee experience.
