**About the Role**
The Director of Inclusion & Belonging is a strategic leader on the Inclusion & Belonging team at Gap, Inc. This leader will have experience designing, implementing, and managing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging strategies and priorities. The leader will integrate this work into our business, people, and culture strategies in this role. This proven leader will be a people manager on the Inclusion & Belonging team, collaborating with senior managers to support the corporate functions and distribution centers, provide advisory support to HR partners, and work closely with all internal stakeholders to create impactful Inclusion & Belonging strategies.
The ideal candidate will deeply understand diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging concepts and have a proven track record in talent, change management, and advisory support. This person will also need to have proven success in their ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
**What You'll Do**
+ Serve as a thought leader to all corporate functions and distribution centers
+ Manage and mentor an Inclusion & Belonging leader
+ Co-design, implement, and manage an enterprise-wide Inclusion & Belonging strategy in alignment with the organization's Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values
+ Deploy enterprise-wide Inclusion & Belonging strategy across the corporate functions and distribution centers
+ Work closely with corporate function partners to understand business strategies, assess current cultural competence, and identify capability gaps and opportunities for improvement to enable a culture of inclusion and belonging
+ Provide relevant data, analysis, and recommendations to guide decision-making related to the execution of corporate function strategies
+ Serve as an ongoing ambassador for employee network groups, helping to increase engagement and active participation of all levels of employees in Inclusion & Belonging initiatives
+ Serve as an advisor to internal stakeholders: Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, ESG, etc.
+ Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and key stakeholders on Inclusion & Belonging-related matters
+ Develop and foster an inclusive culture by initiating and supporting community-building and engagement initiatives for the corporate functions and distribution centers
+ Stay abreast of trends, research, and best practices to inform strategies and initiatives
+ Lead cross-functional projects to address systemic inequities and promote equity and inclusion across the organization
**Who You Are**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Sociology, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCDP, CDP) is strongly preferred.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in an Inclusion & Belonging leadership role, with a demonstrated ability to implement and scale initiatives across multiple brands/groups or adjacent leadership and work experience
+ Expert knowledge of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging principles, strategies, and best practices
+ Ability to guide, motivate, and inspire direct reports and clients
+ Strong analytical capabilities and experience leveraging raw data and turning it into information that can be used when designing brand strategies
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a growth mindset
+ Ability to influence at all levels
+ Proven ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously

Salary Range: $175,100 - $232,000 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
