Director of Indirect Category Procurement

\n Build, recruit and develop a strategic indirect procurement team responsible for interfacing with business and supplier partners Lead strategic sourcing initiatives in conjunction with team covering approximately $600M of indirect spend categories including facility services, MRO, capital, Energy, HR and Administrative Services Facilitate cross-functional teams to execute the procurement process and plans; enable supplier selection and decision process; lead / facilitate contract development, negotiation and execution process Effectively network with senior business leaders to build Procurements profile and engagement on key sourcing strategies and provide support for resolution of procurement related issues Develop relationships with suppliers to manage supplier performance issues in collaboration with relevant internal business customers Responsible for all procurement technology systems, process tools and procedures Develop and support implementation of our Procure to Pay system, Coupa, across our Business Units that builds the capabilities needed for long-term growth and sustainability including standardizing supplier onboarding process, requisitioning, Approval workflow, PO issuance, spend analytics, category management, sourcing methodology, tools and templates, policies and procedures, supplier management program, etc. Implement and Support ongoing utilization of our Contract Management System Manage the Sourcing Tracker and Initiative Wave for the procurement function Support ESG (Environmental, Sustainability, and Governance) activities for Novolex Marketing and Communications Utilize market intelligence to anticipate opportunities, strategize and support the business in formulating solutions to address changing market needs Establish relationships with key internal leaders to ensure procurement is aligned with their business objectives Establish Procurement policy and procedures Establish management reporting to support communication with the leadership team Identify savings opportunities and partner with Finance teams to capture savings in budgeting process Establish balanced scorecard metrics (cost, quality, service, etc.) to enable decision making Commercial real-estate portfolio including 3rd party warehousing \n Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or another applicable specialty required; MBA a plus Must have a proven track record of achievement at the management level and 7+ years of experience leading strategic sourcing projects and operational/process value generation initiatives Demonstrated achievement of results, including savings generation, improvements to supplier relationships and improvements in service Embraces fact-based decision making; naturally seeks to leverage and/or integrate market data, spend analytics and cost modeling Strong project management skills, including stakeholders, timelines and meeting management skills Demonstrated strength in partnering with internal customers; regularly communicates with stakeholders for alignment Possesses strong negotiation skills; experience in global contracting terms, conditions and contracting techniques for managing risk Entrepreneurial spirit preferred; hands-on leadership required Driven and able to balance multiple priorities Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required \n
